Rollins Child Development Center

Our main focus is to provide a strong early learning program to our youngest community members, six weeks through six years of age. Our faith-based learning program is designed to promote independence and confidence in children while instilling strong Christian values.

Spring Activites at Rollins

Rollins is excited to announce our first composting heap accompanied with two worm farms. The children have been working very hard and learning a lot about recycling and taking care of the enviornment. In addition to these activities, we also started our spring planting. Check out our pictures below to see the children working on these projects.

Healthy Handwashing (A S.T.E.M Project at Rollins)

Handwashing is an important part of staying healthy and Rollins is always encouraging healthy habits. A S.T.E.M. project this past week helped encourage clean habits when parents, students and teachers experimented with a glowing gel that simulates germs on hands. After scrubbing their hands using water, soap and a paper towel, everyone got to see how many germs they washed away. This school-wide project was a success as we all said good-bye to all the germs trying to make us sick! Remember, we do many activities with our hands, so let's keep our community clean by scrubbing all those icky germs away multiple times a day!
